Yang sebenarnya dibutuhkan set TVC

Set TVC memakan ruang lebih besar dari yang terlihat di frame. Di belakang kamera ada dolly track, lampu, dan meja kerja kru. Di samping set ada talent yang menunggu giliran, dan di ruang lain ada klien serta agensi yang memantau gambar.

Kalau salah satu kelompok itu tidak punya tempat, semuanya pindah ke area syuting. Tinggi ruang juga ikut menentukan. Lampu yang digantung di atas set butuh built-in rigging, yaitu rangka di langit-langit untuk memasang lampu tanpa memakan lantai.

Studio 1 atau Studio 2

Pilih Studio 1 kalau set Anda dibangun secara fisik, kru Anda besar, dan klien ingin memantau dari client room. Pilih Studio 2 kalau iklan Anda memakai latar virtual dari green screen atau tampilan gelap dari black screen. Studio 3, sekitar 80 m² dan mulai Rp2 juta untuk 6 jam, kami siapkan untuk pemotretan skala kecil, workshop, dan meeting tim.

Empat hal yang perlu dihitung sebelum booking

1. Hitung semua orang yang datang, bukan hanya kru.

Kapasitas sering dihitung dari daftar kru, padahal talent, stylist, agensi, dan klien ikut datang. Susun daftar hadir per jam syuting, lalu tentukan siapa menunggu di mana. Client room dan make-up room tambahan bisa dipesan per 12 jam, mulai Rp850 ribu, dengan booking dua hari sebelumnya.

2. Jumlahkan beban listrik semua lampu.

Beban lampu TVC jarang dihitung sebelum hari syuting, dan kekurangannya baru terasa saat semua lampu menyala. Catat daya setiap lampu dan alat yang menyala bersamaan, jumlahkan, lalu sisakan cadangan. Bawa angka itu saat booking: kami menyewakan genset 8 KVA Rp1,2 juta, 20 KVA Rp2 juta, dan 40 KVA Rp2,5 juta, dan ukuran lain bisa ditanyakan ke tim kami.

3. Dengarkan ruangan sebelum talent masuk.

Dialog yang direkam di set bisa rusak oleh dengung alat, dan masalahnya sering baru terdengar di meja editing. Setelah semua lampu menyala, rekam 30 detik suara ruangan kosong lalu dengarkan dengan headphone. Peredam di kedua studio mengurangi gema, bukan dengung alat, jadi matikan alat yang tidak dipakai saat take dialog.

4. Tentukan satu orang yang menyetujui take.

Klien dan agensi yang berdiri di belakang monitor kamera sering memberi arahan bersamaan, dan sutradara menerima masukan yang saling bertentangan. Sepakati sebelum syuting siapa yang memberi persetujuan akhir per adegan. Tim klien bisa memantau dari client room, lalu satu orang membawa keputusan ke set.

Yang sudah termasuk dalam sewa

Tarif kami adalah tarif ruang: kru dan peralatan produksi Anda bawa sendiri. Sewa Studio 1 sudah termasuk internet 50 Mbps dedicated 1:1, dua lampu Godox SL 60 (tergantung ketersediaan), table and bench set, valet service, dan smoking area di rooftop. Mobil dan motor kru bisa parkir di dalam gedung maupun di sekitarnya, dan keamanan berjaga 24 jam dengan CCTV.

What a TVC set actually needs

A TVC set takes up more space than what appears in frame. Behind the camera there is dolly track, lighting and the crew's work tables. Beside the set, talent wait for their turn, and in another room the client and agency watch the picture.

If any of those groups has nowhere to be, everyone ends up in the shooting area. Ceiling height matters too. Lights hung above the set need built-in rigging, a ceiling frame for mounting lights without using floor space.

Studio 1 or Studio 2

Choose Studio 1 if your set is physically built, your crew is large, and the client wants to watch from the client room. Choose Studio 2 if your ad uses a virtual background from a green screen or a dark look from a black screen. Studio 3, about 80 m² and from IDR 2 million for 6 hours, is set up for small-scale photo shoots, workshops and team meetings.

Four things to work out before you book

1. Count everyone who turns up, not only the crew.

Capacity is often counted from the crew list, yet talent, stylists, agency and client come too. Draw up an attendance list for each shooting hour, then decide who waits where. Extra client rooms and make-up rooms can be booked per 12 hours, from IDR 850,000, two days in advance.

2. Add up the power load of every light.

The lighting load for a TVC is rarely calculated before shoot day, and a shortfall only shows when every light is on. Note the wattage of each light and device running at the same time, add them up, and leave a margin. Bring that figure when you book: we rent 8 KVA generators for IDR 1.2 million, 20 KVA for IDR 2 million and 40 KVA for IDR 2.5 million, and you can ask our team about other sizes.

3. Listen to the room before talent walks in.

Dialogue recorded on set can be ruined by equipment hum, and the problem is often only heard in the edit. Once every light is on, record 30 seconds of the empty room and listen on headphones. The sound treatment in both studios reduces echo, not equipment hum, so switch off anything not in use during dialogue takes.

4. Name one person who approves takes.

Clients and agency standing behind the camera monitor often give directions at the same time, and the director gets conflicting notes. Agree before the shoot who gives final approval for each scene. The client team can watch from the client room, and one person carries the decision to the set.

Studio 1 rental includes 50 Mbps dedicated 1:1 internet, two Godox SL 60 lights (subject to availability), a table and bench set, valet service and a rooftop smoking area.
